MR. MUYA James (Jemo),

Program Asst. ANARDE


Mr. Muya James (Jemo) holds a Certificate in Environmental Health and Management and a graduate in Development studies. He is also the Supervisor and Head of Paralegals/Community Volunteers of ANARDE in Karamoja.

He has experience of over 5 years in community engagements with the local communities of Karamoja on Sensitization and community awareness sessions, and dialogues on Natural Resource and extractive industry. He is passionate in Human Rights advocacy making him a Human Rights Advocate and Defender in relation to Natural Resource Governance and Extractive Industry

He is also an Environmentalist with passion to protect, conserve and Preserve environment working with ANARDE. He also has experiences on research and data collection and worked with a number of research companies, and Institutions. He possesses skills of translation skills from English to Nga’karimojong.

He has worked in Media as a radio presenter and he currently works with 88.7 Ateker Moroto FM on programs of Human Rights advocacy like “Know Your Rights”, and “Women & Development”.
